Personality profiling for dietary behavior change

Our personalities, as measured by the ‘Big Five’ model (Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism) have an important influence on our health behavior. We developed a workshop for the University of Illinois Personalized Nutrition Initiative to explore how partner organizations can profile, segment and tailor food product portfolios and dietary adherence support based on personality type in order to boost sales and service adherence.
